I regret to inform you that I will not renew hosting for the mhkids server.

mhkids.minecraft.ms will go offline on or around 17-July

Parents: You have some amazing kids. Truly. We’ve all had a tremendous amount of fun building, exploring, and getting to know one another.

I’m sorry that I’m not able to continue to provide this service for these great kids. Player donations are considerably under what I’d hoped for over the last year and I’m simply no longer willing to shoulder this financial burden alone. More importantly though, the amount of time I have to spend to keep the server running and the community healthy is time I’m not spending with my family.

I wish you and your children the very best and hope that you’re able to find another family-friendly Minecraft server on which they can play.

This is sad news, but I understand why you must do this.
I had a to-scale replica of the parthenon in ancient greece that i had made for the new spawn. i will post a picture of it shortly on my servers website soon for everyone to see.

I’m sorry to see this happen. I found this server while looking for a great place for my daughter to play. I spent a little bit of time on the server until I realized it wasn’t exactly for me without her….yeah. Anyway, I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case, but I fully understand why. As a parent I just want to express my thanks for the brief time we spent on the server. I was able to show her some things which in turn caused her to take it further.

  Thanks, automated! That means a lot to me. It’s been a lot of fun but I simply can’t support it on my own with finances or time.

On behalf of myself, chomp1110 and harrybananas, I just want to say thank you, TF for all that you’ve done. We understand the difficulties and costs (time and money) involved, and you’ve definitely set a high bar for what we expect from other servers in Minecraft. And to all the players on Monkey Hustle, you’re quite a community of virtual citizens, and it’s been a pleasure playing with you. You also made this server what it was. I’ve yet to see a server where the players have been nearly as friendly or helpful, and hope to run into you online in the future. And maybe this means we’ll even get to see TF on another server actually playing Minecraft someday, and we can just ask him to help us find diamonds, and we won’t be bugging him about being griefed and that sort of thing.   I’ll be one Hustle Harder for a few more months (until that expires) and then I’ll be looking for a place to play. If anyone has any recommendations, I’m all ears.

Wow this is just so sad. I can’t believe the server is going down. This server was my start at multiplayer. This was an amazing server. Guess we will just have to live it up on hardcore. maybe the last few weeks just party. Gosh if I went throught the single player map it would be so weird wiht no one there. I would reccomend Tekkit client and tekkit.eu as a fun server. I just cant believe it. I came here to check why ther server was down.

  If you’re interested, you can download the final backup of the map at http://www.monkeyhustle.com/maps/. Note that the original spawn point for the map was not where the Agora is located. If you load it up in single player, you may want to turn on creative mode and fly back to the Agora at x: 995, z: 261.

The Monkey Hustle community has been like family to me. It will be sad to see it go. But, the end of Monkey Hustle still doesn’t meen for sure that we can’t see one another again in-game. Maybe there will be a nother server sometime. \=)
